MOUNT ST. MOISSEI & ST. CATHERINE'S MONASTERY

Duration:
From 22:00 till 14:00 on the next day

Program:
— Pick up the guests fromtheir hotels (according to the given pick up time )
— Drive to St. Catherine city (approximately for 3 hours (270 km))
— Rest at the cafeteria of the monastery (drinks and food at the cafeteria is not included in the tour and paid extra!)
— Starting going up to the mountain (7 km mountain road + 750 stone steps to get to the final top of the mountain, it lasts for 2 / 2.5 hours)
— Arrive to the top of the mountain and waiting for the sunrise
— After sunrise going down (from the same road)
— Rest in the cafeteria and giving the clients time to get breakfast (breakfast box from hotel) and drink something from the cafeteria (drinks are paid extra!)
— Visit St. Catherine's Monastery
— Driving back to Sharm

— Breakfast (breakfast can be bought at the cafeteria or taken as a breakfast box from hotel. Breakfast boxes should be ordered at the reception in advance!)
— Drinks at monastery's cafeteria
— Tipping

Notice:
— There are 2 ways to get to the top of the mountain. The guests are taking the normal mountain road and not the steps road (the normal road is 7 km mountain road + 750 stone steps, while the steps road is 3500 stone steps)
— Guestss to be advised to order breakfast box from hotel
— The guests have to be with covered shoulders and knees inside the monastery
— This trip is not recommended for children!
— It’s very cold on the mountain (especially in winter)
— There are camels available if the guests are interested to go up by camel, around 10 USD, but it’s not recommended
